Your Personalized Software Development Program

How Does The Program Work?

1. Your Personalized Roadmap

The first step is for us to create a roadmap for you based on your goals. We start with an introductory call where we learn about your goals, learning style, and timeline. From here, we craft a personalized plan which will serve as the foundation of your software development journey. Whether you want to become a frontend developer, backend developer, or full stack developer - we’ve got a plan for you.

2. Build the Skills and Learn the Tech

Paired with a dedicated mentor and instructor, you will gain hands-on experience in becoming a software developer via the style of learning that fits you. Progress, in the form of work tasks, will be kept on a Trello board accessible to both you and the instructor. Weekly accountability and support meeting will be help between you and your mentor.

3. Building Apps and Beyond

In this part of the program, you will build multiple applications using software engineering processes - just like you would in the real world. You'll learn the day to day aspects of being a software developer in the real world as well as aspects of product development and agile. Selected students will also be referred to our startup internship program.

See What Our Students Are Saying

“I took the program in the spring and had a great experience. As someone who was possibly exploring a career change, it was important for me to have flexibility since I was working full-time. Benny is incredibly talented and invested in his students. Not only does he have a knack for explaining complex ideas in easily understandable terms, he will go the extra mile of making sure you understand any topics. Whether you are considering a career change or simply want to build apps for fun, I’d highly encourage you to sign up for the the course!“

—Tracy C.
Technical Program Manager @ Microsoft

"I took Benny’s course this past Spring. I definitely recommend taking it over the other bootcamps available.  Benny’s course also prepared me for the real world of software engineering jobs, covering all of the tools and techniques that is used on the job. By the end of the course, I was successfully able to release my own apps. Happy student here!"

—Pan L.
Developer at CUNY Research Foundation

“I was enrolled in the program and walked into the class with not that much coding experience. Within 3 short months now find myself able to program full, complex apps. His class was engaging and he was able to simplify concepts into digestible bits of information. He made me feel very comfortable and ensures I was on pace with the curriculum. I would HIGHLY recommend the class“

Have Questions?

  • Great question! This is the most common question we get and one of the hardest to answer. I could easily teach you the hottest tech stack currently used in the industry but what happens when that goes away and something new pops up?

Instead - I want you to change your thinking and phrase the question instead to “what won’t I learn?”. The most important skill you will learn is how to solve problems and figure things out. This is of course in addition to the technical skills you’ll learn within your specific curriculum but most students will finish the program with a solid understanding of full stack development - particularly skilled in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and more.

  • Absolutely! Accountability and support are our two most important core values. Starting from day 1, you will have a dedicated mentor/instructor who will be along side you as you’re progressing through your software development journey. They will be the ones provide you tasks to work on and material to learn.

  • The program starts at $199/month and most students finish around the 6 month mark (depending on your timeline and available time to put into the course). This is still much cheaper than bootcamps which charge upwards of $30,000.

  • You tell me! Most students that join our program are looking to transition into tech so if that’s your goal as well, then we can work towards that. We offer a startup internship program that selected students can join. In this program, students work directly at startups for a few months to year; gaining real world experience in the field. We also provide resume/cover letter services once you start applying for jobs.
